I am a pretty vocal person, especially when I see companies screwing up very much like how this Pay per play farce was. I had someone giving me information from inside of Voice2Page when I was publishing about their follies. Even a few times that Sam Deeb reached out to me he acted ignorant of what Larry Host was doing when he tried to revitalize netaudioads.

I will not let these properties go I will kep adding new content to them on occasion just in case they try to relaunch this garbage. So this blog will not be abandoned it just wont get many updates unless it is something that I want to share. It may be about netaudioads or it may not.

One thing that we are doing to drive revenue to our company right now in addition to our automotive seo clients is creating cpc affiliate sites, since ebay changed to a pay per click model. We can use these sites to help market automotive clients inventory like we did for a Cincinnati Ford dealer by pumping their listing to a site dedicated to Cincinnati auto auctions.

Even sites that are not promoting a specific dealers inventory has the ability to drive revenue via affiliate revenue. All of this is accomplished without having to recruit customers or members to join some type of program.

What's Your Purpose

Online advertising has several purposes. Branding, Opt-ins, Sales and awareness. Like this blog, which was never advertised, it was created for to bring awareness to people looking to get involved with Netaudioads and voice2page. It has long served it's usefulness. Now I just use it to talk about general marketing ideas.

If I was selling a competitive product or offering something real close to what they were doing it may of even caused legal trouble, even though I was threatened several times. Now I spend my time working to help my car dealer clients get more traffic to their websites and inventory.

One of my latest automotive seo projects is to help a NC Chevy dealer drive traffic to their Chevy Silverado Inventory. The project is working out nicely. The site is less than a month old and is driving a fair amount of traffic. Another project for a Cincinnati Ford dealer is working really well too.

What does this have to do with NetAudioAds? Nothing really, like I said it has come and gone and is nolonger a threat to pulute the Internet with a very bad form of advertising.

Finding a use for a dead site about a dead program

Well the searches for Netaudioads have all but disappeared from any piece of content published about them. I guess now I can use these obscure blogs to rant about anything I want to now. I have been busing my arse off all weekend for a Cincinnati Ford dealer and I hope it pays off for them. We are just taking the time to stack properties on top of properties to help them buuild an unstopable search engine presense.

Thisis not a new concept it is just one that is not executed very often. Another agency I know is doing the very same thing for a New Jersey Hyundai dealer. The difference in the ways these sites are executed is versus how others make automotive seo mistakes is they are optimized properly using white hat seo.

Eventually a continual strategy of this nature will lead to a masive online presence that cannot be stopped in local markets.

This is Hot - Winning without Recruiting

I have never been a fan of recruiting type programs. They by design work to reward the early adopters and the people at the bottom suffer. All of the gurus have built big list and then just try to manipulate them to jump on the next big thing.

The affiliate niches are wide open in this down economy and if you people were to take this opportunity to capitalize on them you can develop properties that will win today and in the future. A good example is a site I built around local car dealers to push automotive affiliate offers.

The site is less than 3 days old and is getting traffic for 2009 Mustang Shelby and has generated over $300 in affiliate commissions. The site is almost on auto pilot with fresh content daily and will start winning a lot of local terms pretty fast. Mainly for dealers names like Bennett Dodge and Dan Vaden.

I am sure the Brunswick Car Dealers will not be happy, but when approached to get my services they all want to tell me how little value the Internet has for them.

Off the Map - Out of Site

Well it looks like the Internet community has been spared from the bad idea of Pay Per Play. The core people involved with this have left and gone. Shut off the phones, stopped sending emails and even trying to disavow association.

I have not update this in a while and probably wont again unless they try to revitalize the crap product with the same people at the helm. I hope my friends who are involved with this on the the top realize what getting in bed with felons really means.

I have been working on a new craigslist service for car dea lers and revitalizing my blog to help internet sales managers. It is far more lucrative that chasing dreams. The best advice I can give people who have been led down many wrong roads trying to make a buck online, it to learn to do your own thing. You will be way ahead if you do.

This blog still has some value to help promote other properties an they may be teh content in the future.

NetAudioAds and Larry Host Vilified Responses

Larry Host has taken it upon himself to try and browbeat my wife after she posted some truths about him, after he encouraged people to link to a blog that was attempting to denigrate her and our children.

In her post about NetAudioAds CTO Larry Host she pointed out his numerous bankruptcy filings and his felony conviction for not paying child support he retorted by stating.

If you had ANY clue as to the 10 year legal battle after my divorce over property settlement disguised ad alimony, you would be ashamed for letting paul talk you into this.

I have NEVER posted anything negative about you or your children, YET.

While it is true that Larry has never posted anything negative about my wife or children it is apparent that he is willing to. I just wonder what he could possibly be willing to publish about my wife and children that is negative. Actually the threat of publishing negative information about my minor children may find him back in court.

I guess the fact that I have a three year old with a cleft lip and palate is negative to him and would give him fodder to publish negative information?
Or would he publish about my 10 year old son being a self proclaimed magician?
Or would he publish about my 6 year old child being an eternal optimist?

Or would he attack my 21 year old daughter for being a mother early in life and giving me my granddaughter?
How would he attack my wife with negative information?

His conviction was for not paying child support and not spousal support as stated in his reply. This is probably the worst non violent crime in the world and for people to look at this company with any real seriousness should have their motives examined. They also need to look at how he responds to people that ask him questions he does not wish to answer and his immature behavior encouraging people to link to false information with an attempt to belittle a child with a birth defect.

Larry Host CTO NetAudioAds "Convicted Felon" Fails to Support His Family

In recent turmoil over at the PayPerPlay forum Larry Host,CTO of NetAudioAds, has encouraged people to link to a blog with false information about my personal life and alleged financial irresponsibility. What he fails to mention in his rally cries is that he has committed the worst financial crime ever:

It is amazing that someone with a past such as this would encourage people to link to false information about anyone. I guess the fact that that blog poster took cheap shots and a child with a Cleft Lip and Palate and him condoning it really shows his true colors.

While I don't expect him to care much about the well being of my children, this information shows that he does not care much about the well being of his either...

The Only Thing Consistent About the Voice Man for NetAudioAds is Inconsistency

Larry Host the front man for NetAudioAds has trouble with statements he makes. He is continually changing his tune after he realizes the true ramification of his actions. He makes what could be construed as libelous statements or ones that could alienate potential advertisers then goes back and changes his tone.

In the post previous to this one I explained why Automobile manufacturers and Car Dealers Should not consider NetAudioAds or the PayPerPlay network as a viable advertising medium because of his denigrating remarks made about Automotive Industry Professionals in his general tone he goes back and changes his tune.

In the typical fashion used by people with hurt pride, Larry Host the CTO of NetAudioAds has taken the fact that he tried to propagate false information about Paul Rushing as and opportunity to denigrate his profession when he exposed Mr Host for what he was at a blog about NetAudioAds.

He took his position on a board that Paul Rushing was not able to respond on to lash out and demean automotive professionals. This should give anyone in the Automotive Industry a second though before buying any advertising through this organization.

While it has not been verified it does appear that it is not only NetAudioAds who has a dubious past of not paying affiliates it does appear that the founder of PayPerPlay has also had problems paying affiliate commissions.

Blog Comments are Being Closed Due to Spam

It does appear that I am not the only one that receives many spam comments from people trying to promote PayPerPlay.

Aaron Wall at SEO Book closed comments on his blog post about NetAudioAds where he talked about "NetAudioAds wasting good publicity on a Bad Idea".

What does this say about he quality of publishers and affiliates they are attracting to this Annoying Advertising Source?

It tells me that they are not looking for quality in their delivery methods and more towards quantity. While it would be easy to churn out millions of pages to deliver advertising through various mediums it just does not take into account what message the advertisers will be delivering if they embrace this advertising model.

In my opinion it will hurt the credibility of the advertiser to have ads played on spam sites like PayPerPlay is advocating for delivery of the ads if they are looking to attract offline customers to their venues. Now if they are promoting some pie in the sky internet make money from home crowd then this is the perfect advertising source as it takes a lot of visitors to make money with that stuff and those individuals are a gullible lot.

While it has been claimed that the only types of sites that are suitable for the PayPerPlay advertising platform will be Made For Adsense and free services sites tinyurl, what kind of message is an advertiser trying to deliver?

Do they really want their name associated with crap sites? It appears that voice2page is not doing any type of quality review before approving publishers.

This just leaves to much room for fraud by publishers. While I am not going to tell fraudsters how to cheat the system the potential advertisers need to know how easy this system will be to cheat.

For starters many publishers will probably start RSS scraped sites or other content scraping platforms to make millions of pages to spam the search engines with. I could show a child how to successfully do this.

Many people just really do not care about keeping the internet devoid of crap and this new advertising platform is no different. They, Pay Per Play, are advocating advocating that the best use for this ad platform will be high bounce made for adsense style sites.

The only benefit I see is if enough of these style sites pop up with the launch of netaudioads they will be handing the largest search engine out there a footprint that will make it easy for them to deindex this poor advertising delivery method and save over 50% of search engine users from hearing annoying advertising on crap content sites.

I found an interesting post that was not authored by me pointing out how many of the claims in the PayPerPlay ad page cannot be substantiated and saw this interesting comment:

I had heard about PPP several times before I made the decision to join. But before I did - I called and spoke to one of the founders - Larry Host.

I talked with him about a few of my concerns - increased lag, ad targeting, and the expected CPM of a site. He said that they have been testing and using the technology for the last 3 years and if the site doesn’t connect to the server in 1 second, it just fails. As for the targeting he explained several of the targeting options available to the advertisers - and it sounds a lot more targeted than anything else, including geo targeting to the zip code of your choice.

My final concern was that I would only earn like $1 CPM as a publisher. While of course the CPM rates will vary depending on your market, etc. He did say that they expected CPM to be closer to the $10 to $20 range. Which sounds great to me.

Notice real hard what I highlighted in RED. Those CPM claims are ridicules. Lets break it down to where even a 3rd grade student can understand it, because that appears to be the level of sophistication that someone who believes that must have.

According to the comp plan at PPP the publisher will receive 25% of the ad revenue for each "Ad Play" . Base on those CPM quotes advertisers will be paying in the $40 to $80 per 1000 plays.

I have seen the sales agreement where the price per 1000 plays is $14. No way to for those payouts survive based on that. Now if they have raised the advertising cost to $40-$80 per 1000 ad plays they will need some deep pocked advertisers to buy in seeing how even on PayPerPlays claims that there is just a 20% loss to advertisers.

So for $40 to $80 and advertiser will get 800 real plays (PPP's Numbers Not Mine) at 5 seconds each. That is a cost of .05 to .10 for each 5 second branding play. For that kind of money they can buy targeted website traffic on the Adwords content network and have the real potential of converting surfers to lead or customers.

They are claiming that the ads will be website targeted. The real question is if it is that targeted there are better ways for advertisers to spend money. I am sure the MFA fools are chomping their lips at those kinds of claims.

It is doubtful that Larry Host will acknowledge he made a claim like that. If he does and you believe it you deserve to waste as much time as possible polluting the internet with more search engine spam and receiving nothing for your efforts.

I recently visited the sellingppp blog and was amused by what I saw. They have now instituted a cash grab. It looks like that all of the affiliates they are bringing into this are not that savvy and it looks like they are trying to cash in on this.

Here is what they have posted on the sales page for the cash grab:

They are going after gullible people with this cash grab. If your sole goal is to purchase a domain to cloak an affiliate link you can do it just for the cost of the domain. You can buy info domains for less that $5 per year, depending on the registrar. I think I only pay around $3.20 a year including ICANN fees. If you wanted to frame in your affiliate link even with a full featured hosting account you can do it for around the price they are quoting to buy you a domain and forward it to an affiliate link.

Now the real reasons are starting to come forward. They are building a huge marketing list so they can start hawking other products at the masses.

Sure Pay Per Play is free to join. I can't wait to see what other crappy offers they are going to try to come up with to help people be successful promoting PayPerPlay. I guess the next thing will be pushing Wealthy Affiliate and mass RSS site generation software.

What is funny if they were not looking for a cash grab they would of just sent an update telling people how to redirect a domain to an affiliate link. Then an affiliate link to godaddy or yahoo would of been ok and reasonable. I can show people how to do it in maybe 8 sentences. Even better they could of sent out Iframe code with an explanation and sold hosting accounts and domains and made more than $60.

I wont even insult peoples intelligence by telling you how to do it here.

The only reason I see for them doing it this way is so they remain in control of the domains after people start washing out. Now the true colors are starting to come out on the PayPerPlay - NetAudioAds launch I wonder if they let Voice2Page know about the cash grab, who knows maybe they are in on it too.

Is Porn the Future for Pay Per Play and NetAudioAds?

Have you ever used the search engines to find something and wind up at a nonsensical site full of advertising and pop-up? The ones that are so ugly and have non valuable information that you would do anything to leave the page hit the back button, click an advertisement or close your browser.

These are the types of sites that are the future for PayPerPlay and NetAudioAds. I wonder what caliber of advertisers they will attract? I suggest they need to concentrate on the online adult industry for advertisers and save decent people the agony of hearing this crap when they hit a website.

This is not a "Golden Egg" it is a poorly designed marketing scheme that will crumble along the same lines as AGOLCO, due to lack of real advertisers unless they give the website visitors the option of hearing the ad. Currently they are touting that it is forced on the surfer.

Think about it though if you know anything about redirecting traffic. ( I do ) I could easily generate millions of hits per month to this. But really isn't the net supposed to be a tool for the users? Why would I want to spam people like this unless it was perverts looking for some free porn.

Voice2Page and Pay Per Play and Conflicting Opinions

In a recent email that was sent to all of the former affiliates at voice2page they deemed the program a failure because the program was used primarily as a referral source to generate income for the affiliates. This is not how the program was sold to the original affiliates of voice2page.

It was sold as earning from referring other affiliates in a MLM style 5 tier compensation plan and earning from the NetAudioAd plays. While Larry Host may of forgotten this fact. The original affiliates were told that when the ad plays go live that they would be the backbone for promoting the program and recruiting others to deliver the ads.

While this may not of been the intention of voice2play to give those affiliates an exclusive to the ad play compensation plan it was perceived that way. In the recent email sent by Larry Host of voice2page to the old affiliates he forgets to address this.

(I will address some of the false claims in this email in later post. Not to mention the huge privacy breech that was made when this email was sent.)

He claims that the only reason people joined it for the affiliate payment structure and forgets to mention that the NetAudioAds compensation was also assured to these affiliates and it never came to fruition or the original affiliates were ignored when they were ready to launch it. Only Larry Host can answer these questions.

What is strange though is while voice2page has decried earning from referring others it is what Pay Per Play is actually advocating. Refer as many people as possible to the affiliate program and earn from their efforts instead of setting up yourself as a earner from the voice plays.

Here is a comment made by Charles Heflin at another blog defending the Pay Per Play launch.

You will notice he says that the income opportunity is really from referring other and not from playing the ads yourself.

I wonder if voice2page and Pay Per Play are on the same page on the launch of NetAudioAds?

Pay Per Play Says Search Engine Spam is Good

The audio ads are 5 seconds in length and are not appropriate for blogs with real readers.

They are meant for websites that monetize by sending people away… Like AdSense sites.

They are also meant for sites that are heavy into games, jokes, videos, etc.

Don’t throw the baby out with the bath water… Nobody ever said you had to place 5 second audio ads on your blog… This is just an assumption.

The biggest opportunity in this is referring websites that are a good fit for audio ads.

Adsense is starting to take a no nonsense approach to MFA sites and banning user accounts that participate in search engine spam. Now it looks like Pay Per Play ads delivered by voice2page and netaudio ads will be the next batch of search spam to hit the interwebs.

The voice2page platform is good if used the proper way. But lets face it. Anyone that can use a ftp client to set up a blog can figure out how to add audio as necessary to a site without offending the visitors or the needs for a paid remote hosting services or that paid for by crappy ads.

Mainstream advertisers will stay away from this one like the plague!!
